SWS Packaging recently visited a customer in New York for the installation of three Wulftec WRT-175 semi-automatic stretch wrappers. These rotary arm stretch wrappers feature 3 legged “straddle” design that allows the wrapping of a wide array of pallet sizes, shapes and weights while using the existing floor space as the wrap zone.
These three wrappers include two sides of safety fencing along a concrete wall with light curtains guarding the entrance to each wrap zone. Start/stop/estop pedestals are floor mounted at the front of each safety fencing configuration.
Each of these three machines is preconfigured for an eventual upgrade to fully automatic capabilities.
